For beautiful skin, remember that what you put into your body is just as important as what you put on your skin. By eating a diet high in berries, vegetables, whole grains, salmon, walnuts, water and other beauty foods you will be well on your way to radiant skin and good health!
1. Water!: Make sure to drink the recommended amount of water each day. Well-moisturized skin is less prone to developing wrinkles. Water is also a natural purifier and naturally rids the body of toxins. The best way to calculate how much water you should drink is by taking...

Let fresh radiant skin shine through! Forgetting to exfoliate can leave your skin covered in dead cells and can cause it to look dull and older than it really is.
Here are my best exfoliating tips:

Exfoliate in the morning. Skin renews itself at night therefore the morning is the perfect time for scrubbing away those dead skin cells away.
Once or twice a week is enough. Over exfoliating can tear the skin. Rub the product in a circular motion for 30 seconds and then rinse off with lukewarm water - never hot water.
Mixing facial scrub and your exfoliant together can save...

I started making natural perfume after reading Mandy After’s book Essence and Alchemy: A Natural History of Perfume, which is one of the best books on Natural Perfumery out there. I was inspired. I fell in love with it. Natural Perfumery is an art; a sensory experience like no other. The creation of a natural perfume evolves, it takes you on a journey – you never know what the end result will be. It's a meditation, a dream.
That said, there are less ethereal reasons why I got into natural perfumery. Commercial perfumes are full of toxic chemicals, like phthalates, which are...

People always seem perplexed when I tell them that every one of my Clairvoyant Beauty products works well on all skin types and can be used in any order. Has caring for your skin really become so complicated?
To make it easy, here are a few simple “rules” to keep your skin crystal clear of blemishes, inflammation and the signs of aging:

Cleanse in the morning and the evening, every day.
Give the skin a restorative treatment once or twice a week.
Tone the skin daily – once in the morning and once at night.
Nourish the skin, day and night.
Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate...

It’s Mardi Gras: Time to Celebrate a Fresh Start
With Fat Tuesday upon us, I’ve been thinking about the way we celebrated Mardi Gras every year during college! If you can stand the crowds, it is worth celebrating in New Orleans at least once in your life. I haven’t been since Hurricanes Katrina and Ike, but I doubt that has hampered the spirit of the celebrations there.
One fun tradition of Mardi Gras are the often ornate masks worn so that revelers may let their hair down without having to do ‘the walk of shame’ the next day! I tend to think...
